Tim Tebow's response to his most recent criticism from his teammates in a nutshell: frustration and sadness.
“It can be a little frustrating or saddening, but at the same time, you’re always motivated to go out there and keep working,” Tebow said. “I’ve had criticism somewhat my whole life playing football. You’ve got to do your best at handling it.
As the saying goes, sticks and stones eh? But Tebow does go on to point out that he is only human and the negativity does affect him from time to time.
“This is something I can’t control,” Tebow told the Daily News. “I can control my attitude, my effort and my work ethic. Those are things that will never change based on what anybody says.”
Tebow is known for using a poor critique as the driving force to train harder and prove his peers wrong.
