A competent report from The Los Angeles Times recounts the events leading to the death of Robin Williams better than any recent accounts I have read.
This article focuses on Williams' dark side, however it does not make any mention of his Parkinson's diagnosis as a possible contributing factor that led to the suicide. The main factors cited that may have contributed: a battle with depression and sobriety, waning career issues and money problems.
Nevertheless, the events in Robin Williams life, which were apparently building up for years, gives Robin Williams fans some insight into the death of the prolific comedian.
Rest in peace.
